My Anytime Story

A couple of years ago I weighed 315 pounds. I had high blood pressure, high cholesterol and was diabetic. I didn’t have the energy to play with my three children. My doctor said I was too young to have all of these health issues and that at my current pace, within 10 years I would be looking at a heart attack or stroke. I started working out at Anytime Fitness and started feeling better, but my weight stayed the same. It may have had something to do with me rewarding myself with a bacon double cheeseburger after a good workout! As time went on, I got my diet under control and started eating more fruits, vegetables and lean meats.

My Results

I lost about 100 pounds and really got into weight lifting. Now my kids have trouble keeping up with me. They wish they could beat me in a foot race. It’s not uncommon for me to throw the football with my oldest son, while kicking the soccer ball with the two younger boys, all at the same time. Losing weight and getting into better shape has given me my life back and given my children their father back. I am now off of all the medicine I was on before and haven’t felt better in my entire life. I am not yet where I want to be physically, but I’m having a lot more fun on the journey.
